I love these jars by Bormioli Rocco (Fido Collection). You can find them in Landmark or in SM Department stores. There are cheaper ones available but I don't trust the flimsy metal hardware they have. Anyway, this post is not about the jars. :)
You can tell from this photo I am about to make labels. I have my puncher, soft chalkboard sticker, white chalk and, our new product, white re-positionable sticker.
So I stuck the chalkboard sticker onto the re-positionable sticker.
I tried to punch it with my circle shaper
I just damaged them.
Instead, I traced the circle form onto the back of the sticker, and just did manual cutting.
Here are the labels now
I stuck them onto the jars. You must be wondering why I had to do the double stickering bit...
See, the re-positionable sticker under the soft chalkboard paper converted it to a removable one! Very useful when you need to take them off when you need to wash the jars , or if simply you do not want to commit to permanently sticking them and deal with residue later on.
As the name implies, you can peel and re-position it to anywhere you like!
Here they are now on the lids...
Again, peel off...
stick on anywhere!
Imagine what you can do with a desktop printer, some quality printable sticker sheets (available in bookstores) and the re-positionable sticker. Decorate your laptops and your walls with DIY decals! Use it for your crafting and organizing projects, just think of it as a giant Post-It converter!
Peels off easily!
And to prove that I'm not playing tricks on you, you know I wouldn't dare stick it on my hubby's phone if I knew this would leave an icky residue...
Email me if you're interested. I'm selling these in sheet sizes 8"x11" and 12" x 18". They are not inkjet-printer compatible (meaning you cannot print directly on them with your desktop printer, that is why I resorted to double stickering). Just be creative ( you can draw directly on them with markers!) and the possibilities are endless. Remember, you saw it here first! :)
I'm giving away 5 pcs of 12" x 18" sheets of these white re-positionable stickers to one reader, just leave a comment to tell me what project you plan to work on with these. Give away ends February 17, Friday!
( I also offer direct printing on re-positionable stickers for corporate requirements. Print is water-proof.)

Love this!! I used to buy the 3M Post-It Glue Stick to make some of my items repositionable! Would love to make some personalized wall decals or stick some of the kid's art work at the office wall or label my drawers (which I often rearrange)

Just cleaned out our pantry and thought of finally getting a label-maker. But these stickers will work better since I find myself re-arranging the bottles and baskets every so often. And so much better than a Post-it too!
ReplyDeleteI Love your idea!!! I will make something of that sort and photo decal for my baby boys' bedroom!

Cool idea! I'd use them to stick photos all over my office cubicle! :)

Love love your ideas!!! Thanks for leaving comments! :)
ReplyDeleteJust got three file cabinets for our office. This'll be awesome to label each drawer :) Whatever's left, Im'ma take home and label my makeup drawers and stick a note board on my mirror.
ReplyDeleteyeah, agree!!!
DeleteHi. I’m an avid reader of your blog. I just love all of your DIY ideas. It is all practical, neat and easy to follow. I would love to try this repositionable stickers. What is currently in mind are these projects:
ReplyDeleteTravel Map Mood Board at home: I can use the sticker to pin color coded buttons the place we visited and what we plan to visit along with the list of what to do’s.
Gigantic Post-It in War Room Wall at the office: I love to use post-its but it would be lovely to see plans of to-dos in large handwriting, the old-school way. It is exciting to stick these in the glass window, which of course not possible using other adhesive.
Activity Art Board for my 14th month old baby: She loves to rearrange things and recreate different clutter. It would be fun to stick different materials like fabric and boards in different shapes and color in the wall. She can definitely create kind of Picasso masterpiece with these media.
So creative! Thanks for sharing :)
DeleteNo icky residue! love!
ReplyDeleteThe first time I read about this I daydreamed about the themes my daughter's closet could have, alphabets, animals, colors, grandparents, aunties,uncles...Since we live far from relatives we have tried to show her pictures of the loved ones before our visits. Seems to work because she doesn't take a long time warming up to them or get too shy. At 2years old, she appreciates it when things are at her eye level. Even my closet has an alphabet chart. But I could not take it off because I dread the residue
. Good thing I was able to snap back out from that daydream to post a comment here;)
Closets and cabinets! I've been thinking about labeling kitchen cabinet doors. It's so hard pointing out to family members where this and that are stored since there are so many cupboard doors in our kitchen - and im the only one who knows where the things are! :)
DeleteHow are the jars at keeping out moisture and ants? (I'm not ignoring the repositionable stickers, I just really want to know about the jars because we use Lock in Lock containers which work very well but they're not the prettiest things.)
ReplyDeleteHi. I've been using these jars for my coffee and sugar, and haven't had any problems with ants and moisture. They have rubber rings at the mouth, so they are sealed tight. Harder to open than Lock n Lock, but not really a hassle. I agree Lock n Lock containers are not the prettiest!
ReplyDeleteHi!!! This would be perfect to organize several things in my home:
ReplyDelete1. My pantry, which will continue to add the Chalkboard theme of my home...
2. My daughter's toys and books... with these I can re-arrange them as often as I can... making it not too difficult to adjust as needed...
3. This will also be perfect as tags for gifts!!! Cute . i can vision it now..
Pat, I also want to order, in case i dont win... how can you send it here in BKK?
Can I re-blog them, as soon i get my hands on them? These are so adorable and you know I love chalkboards!!
Mia, I'll email you! Thanks! :)
